My name is Rob and I’m the proud father of a seven year old son. I’m a former teacher of 20 years and have had the privilege of teaching thousands of students in my career.
My mission with this Blog is to pass on some of the insights I have learnt educating kids over the past 20 years as well as learning how to become a better parent through my research for my blog posts and my engagement with you, the reader.
Ultimately, my goal is to find the ‘Secret Sauce’ to growing great kids. What do I define as a ‘Great’ kid? Honestly, that’s just too hard and unfair to define. I hope my son grows up to be kind, happy and helpful to those around him. If he’s good at school or sports then that’s just a bonus that I will probably derive more happiness from than he does!
